Apple Porridge

Ingredients

  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 6 tablespoons walnuts, chopped and divided
  • 3 tablespoons sunflower seeds
  • 2 large apples, peeled, cored and grated
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • ½ small apple, cored and sliced

Directions

  • In a large pan, mix together milk, 2 tablespoons of walnuts, sunflower seeds, grated apple, vanilla, and cinnamon over medium-low heat and cook for about 3-4 minutes.
  • Transfer into serving bowls.
  • Top with remaining walnuts and apple slices and serve.
