Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground cloves
- 1½ cups millet, grounded
- 1½ cups water
- 4 cups unsweetened coconut milk
- ¼ cup raisins
- 1 large apple, cored and sliced
Directions
- In a pan, melt coconut oil over medium-low heat and sauté spices for about 30 seconds.
- Add millet and stir to combine well.
- Stir in water and coconut milk and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer, partially covered for about 10-15 minutes or until desired thickness, beating occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in raisins.
- Serve with the topping of apple slices.
