Applesauce Porridge (progesterone boosting)


2 cups organic unsweetened applesauce (if you have some time, make your own by mixing 2 small apples with a bit of water in the blender. If not then buy the organic brand to ensure there’s no exposure to toxins)

1/2 cup filtered water

1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

2 tablespoons ghee

3 tablespoons chia seeds

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dash of fine sea salt


Toppings (don’t skip the topping!): 

2 tablespoons ground raw sesame seeds

2 tablespoons ground raw sunflower seeds



Place all of the porridge ingredients in a medium-size pan and heat through until the porridge thickens, about 5 minutes.

Ladle into serving bowls and sprinkle with the topping ingredients. Serve Warm.


Note: This porridge keeps well in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
