Chickpeas Crepes

Serves: 4 persons
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes


  • ½ cups plus 3 tablespoons chickpea flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon fresh ginger, grated finely
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • Nonstick cooking spray


  • In a large bowl, mix together flour, chili powder, and salt.
  • Add ginger and cilantro and mix well.
  • Add water and mix until a smooth paste is formed.
  • Keep aside, covered for about ½-2 hours.
  • Lightly, grease a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat.
  • Add the desired amount of mixture and tilt the pan to spread it evenly in the skillet.
  • Cook for about 10-15 seconds per side.
  • Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  • Serve warm.
